How to find your MongoDB URI

This guide describes the URI formats for defining connections between Buildable and MongoDB instances. The MongoDB can be constructed independently by most developers. It's comprised of the following pieces:
  • Username
  • Password
  • Server URI
  • Database name
These pieces are compiled into a compatible URI format, which looks like this:
mongodb+srv://<username>:<password>@<server.example.com>/<database-name>?retryWrites=true&w=majority
See below for an example on how to find the MongoDB URI for an existing cluster in your Atlas console.

Step 1: Find an existing cluster in MongoDB Atlas

Go to your MongoDB cluster and click Connect.

Step 2: Reveal the cluster's URI

To reveal an example MongoDB URI structure for the selected Cluster, click the Connect your application option from the menu.
From there, click the CCC option
