A guide on how to securely connect a SendGrid account to Buildable


SendGrid is a cloud-based email service that provides reliable transactional email delivery, scalability, and real-time analytics. SendGrid has processed more than 2 Trillion emails for companies around the world.
Buildable's SendGrid Service gives you access to tons of out-of-the-box actions ready to go, including delivering emails via HTML, delivering emails via Templates and validating emails.
When triggering emails via SendGrid, you'll always need to have at least 1 verified sender identity plugged in on your SendGrid account. To add a Sender Identity, head to

Step 1: Choose SendGrid from the catalog

To get started, head to Services tab of the Buildable Dashboard and select the SendGrid option from the available services.
Once selected, the SendGrid service allows you connect an existing SendGrid account by selecting the Link Account option. To proceed, click the Continue button.

Step 3: Name your Service & add a SendGrid API Key

Give your Service a name that is easily recognizable. Then, you'll need to find an existing API Key in your SendGrid account or create a new one. Once you've copied your key, drop it into the Buildable link modal.

Step 4: Connect!

Once your API key is entered, you can use the Test Connection feature to make sure the SendGrid key is valid before installing the Service. Once tested, click Connect to install the service on your account.
